Claire Hagerty is a psychotherapist in private practice on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. She provides individual psychotherapy, counseling, and consultation for adults. Claire’s areas of clinical interest include addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She has a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQ+ population.
Claire is trained in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS). She has been trained by IFS Institute instructors, including two Level 2 trainings, and will be attending a training retreat with IFS founder Dr. Richard Schwartz in 2025. She also is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma, addictive and compulsive behaviors, anxiety, and depression.
Claire is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Rhode Island and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She completed her Masters in Social Work at Rhode Island College and received her B.S. in Psychology from University of Delaware.
